Young singers perform at bandstand
Posted: 17th December 2018A festive atmosphere was brought to Harlow when primary school children performed at the Bandstand.
Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 pupils from Little Parndon Primary Academy gave a festive carol concert at Harlow Bandstand, in the Town Park.
Children sang classic carols such as Away in a Manger and Silent Night, as well as Christmas classics such as Rockin Around the Christmas Tree and I Wish it Could be Christmas Every Day.
Parents and members of the community watched on and sung along.
Jackie Diggle, co-head of school, said: “The children had an amazing time and it was great to share our festive cheer with the community.
“There are definitely more plans in the pipeline to perform at the bandstand in future.”
Year 6 pupils have also taken their carol singing to the Leah Manning Centre to perform to the elderly residents.
